Sorting Hat is a Cynic

My growing frustration trying to find interesting OC's in the Harry Potter genre lead to this pointless squiggle. How I'd love to find a character without this traits, do I search in vain...Then again I am searching FF.net, which these days is hardly the epitome of talent.
See, even I, who can generally find something nice to say about any fanfiction and help writers up to scratch, am getting sick and tired of the cliches.
