I was stunned when I searched for 'okemon fanfiction quilava' and found this: [link] , after which was the name of the Quilava - Fury. Hey, I know that character! I thought, so I went to your profile page. Sure enough, underneath the 'sailordusk' were the words 'Topaz Soarhire'. It's the author of On the Wings of Council! I thought as I stared at the screen, stunned.

Perhaps I should explain. When I first got interested in Pokemon through fanfiction, I quickly found several stories on fanfiction.net that I deemed favourites - because they were OT, avoided cliches in the majority of their story, and weren't afraid to keep battles realistic. One of those stories was On the Wings of Council V2. I read through it, and was rather saddened to find it end so suddenly.

The way you wrote your story was one of the inspirations for my first fanfic, Pokemon Watchers, which is still alive (although it spent the last half-year undergoing a revision - I didn't expect it to take so long but TAFE kept occupying my time).

And now I find you're also quite the talented artists, as well. Vector graphics are one of my favourite media.

Actually, amongst all the fanfiction.net writers and DA artists I've come across, you're the only fellow Australian I know of (other than my sister). So I'm going to be adding you to my Friends list.

I've got two accounts here on DA. My Juptile account is used for my Pokemon stuff and all original stuff goes in my ~pgpalmer account.
